“How hard is it to hear God? How hard is it to even know he’s listening and watching your every move? Hard sometimes, huh? That just might be because you don’t know his voice. He’s talking but maybe you’re confusing it with something else.
The truth is that a lot of the times God is talking through circumstances. Nothing happens to you doesn’t first go through his victorious hands. No matter how tragic the situation you’re in, you have to get into the habit of listening to God’s voice in the rumbling of circumstances.
If you can’t stop and say, “Talk to me, God- I want to listen,” and then really listen instead of worrying, whining, or complaining, your life will be amazing. Nothing will ever again be meaningless. Nothing is out of God’s control, and nothing is so miserable that God’s hand can’t lift you up out of it.
The more you listen and expect to hear his voice, the more you will know it’s sound.
Life isn’t like a series of events that God watches from a distance but more like a movie with a beginning, a middle, and a end; a hero, a villain, and a tragedy. For those who believe, the ending is sure to be a good one, and the middle can be pure adventure if you are willing only to believe that God is talking.
Believe and trust that he says is true: he will strengthen you and help you; he will support you with his victorious right hand (read Isaiah 41:10). Let these words be your strength, especially when all seems lost. Never forget that God is always involved.”

“True happiness, or joy, as the Bible calls it, isn’t dependent on what happens to you or around you. If it were it’d just be manufactured happiness, a fake imitation of the real thing. True happiness is something that comes right from God.
When you concentrate and rely on hs Spirit’s presence in your life, you will get more happiness than you ever knew possible.
It’s easy to find happiness in things and people and even easier to lose all hope od happiness when those things and people disappoint you or fail you. But the one who doesn’t rely on the stuff or situations around them to find joy is the one who has found all they need.
Like Paul, you can find the secret of being content, or happy in all situations if you are just willing to draw your happiness from the well of living water instead of from the imitation of life here on earth (Read Phil. 4:10-13).
When trials come, when boredom sets in, happiness can still be yours when you take into account the Word of God and its truth in your life. A person who never lets God’s Word be too far from their mind and refuses to let one day go by without looking for him is a person who knows the secret of true happiness.
God promises true happiness to anyone who is willing to make him Lord of their life and then to continually focus their mind and heart on him daily.” -Hayley DiMarco
“I grew up in a stronghold of fear. I longed to find a safe place to hide. I desperately wanted someone to take care of me. But from the realm of my own painful experience, let me alert you to a toxic emotional cocktail: a relationship made up of someone who has an unhealthy need to be taken care of, and someone who has an unhealthy need to caretake.
This relationship will end up extorting God-given liberties and will prove fraudlent.
Any place we have to hide is not safe. In Christ, we find the freedom to be safely exposed! If only we could understand that God’s authority does not imprison us. it sets us free!” -Beth Moore
Psalm 119: 133 says,”Guide my steps by your word, so I will not be overcome by evil.” or in another translation it says,”Make my steps secure through you promise.” As I make this decision to join an Oikos (extend family group) within my church community I am struggling to pick one from the other (T.C. or G.R.). Today, I was given a peace from these quotes and I thought that sharing them would encourage you, not only in this aspect, but in all areas of your life. Trust God that He will guide you through everything, if you just allow Him to.
Take time to talk to Him, even if you cannot hear Him speak back. Take time to read His Word, even if you may not feel you are getting anything from it. Study it.
These things can make a difference.
